Capital Worship plays a vital role in leading the church in praise and worship during services. Members are expected to be spiritually and physically prepared to guide others through song ministration and offerings. They support the Worship Team Leader, model worship through expressive actions like clapping and raising hands, and commit to learning and memorizing songs. Punctuality is essential, with team members required to arrive early for prayer and sound checks, and consistent attendance at rehearsals is a must.
The City Hospitality team fosters a welcoming and supportive environment for all who enter the church, including visitors, members, and guests. Their mission is to reduce stress and confusion through hospitality and organization, ensuring everyone feels seen and valued. This includes managing welcome resources, guiding guests through their visit, encouraging smooth transitions into membership, responding to needs within the congregation, and hosting post-service receptions.
C3 Productions is responsible for managing all technical aspects of services and events, including musical instruments, sound equipment, and multimedia tools. They create a supportive environment for worship teams, handle audio and video recordings, and ensure seamless operation of projectors, screens, and livestreams. Their efforts help maintain the atmosphere and professionalism of every church event.
Capital Kids ministers to children by nurturing their spiritual growth and instilling reverence for God. Volunteers prepare and teach Bible lessons, align activities with the curriculum, and create plays and skits. They also manage classrooms, engage with parents, and must have a passion for motivating and leading children with love and care.
The Prayer Crew is committed to interceding for the church, its leaders, and members. Their mission is to cultivate a culture of prayer within the congregation. This includes promoting prayer activities, supporting those facing hardships through intercession and visitation, and maintaining dedicated team prayer sessions to uplift the church as a whole.
This team addresses the needs of men, women, singles, and married individuals in the church. It aims to foster spiritual growth and healthy relationships by promoting understanding of God’s purpose for each person. Through discussions, workshops, Bible study groups, and enrichment events, they help build strong individuals and families within the community.
This team ensures that all physical aspects of church events are set up and taken down with excellence. Responsibilities include unloading trailers, arranging chairs, tables, signage, communion supplies, staging, and A/V equipment. After services, they ensure everything is packed and stored properly, helping maintain the flow and professionalism of events.
Capital Admin oversees internal and external communication, including social media, newsletters, and visual content. They support ministry leaders in delivering their messages effectively and ensure consistency across all platforms. They also manage livestreams and communication channels, helping the church stay connected and informed.
City Connects focuses on outreach and evangelism, building bridges between the church and the broader community. They organize community programs, strengthen partnerships, and explore innovative ways to share the Gospel. Through prayer and intentional relationship-building, they aim to expand the church’s impact and presence.
The Teaching Team collaborates on planning and delivering sermon series, incorporating collective insight and spiritual guidance. They meet weekly for creative development, provide mentorship for emerging teachers, and help align messages with the spiritual needs of the church. Their goal is to craft meaningful, spirit-led content that resonates with the congregation.
This team manages the church’s financial health. They prepare annual budgets, review financial reports, oversee spending in line with approved plans, and evaluate capital projects. Ensuring internal controls and safeguarding church assets are key priorities, enabling transparency and stewardship of resources.
Capital Merch merges fashion with ministry by designing apparel that reflects the church’s values. These pieces serve as tools for evangelism and connection, helping spread the message of Christ in stylish, impactful ways. Every item is crafted to inspire conversations and faith expression.
The Welcome Team is dedicated to providing a warm and engaging experience for first-time church guests, helping them feel connected and guiding them toward deeper involvement in the church community. This includes identifying new guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere during services, following up afterward, connecting them to membership and ministries, and fostering a sense of belonging among team members.
The Capital Events team creates impactful, church-wide experiences that foster fellowship and community. They plan and support events like Cap Hangouts, Field Day, Capital Camp, and more. Their work involves coordinating with other teams, handling logistics such as venue selection, marketing, décor, food, programming, and vendor management—all to ensure events are welcoming, safe, and meaningful for everyone involved.
The City Evangelism team is committed to fulfilling Jesus’ command in Mark 16:15 by spreading the Gospel throughout the community. They equip members to evangelize effectively through practical training, spiritual guidance, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. The team also organizes and leads outreach events to share the Good News with those in need.
Cap CRTVs exists to build a strong online presence that reflects the church’s mission and values while promoting spiritual growth. The team creates and shares engaging content—including posts, videos, and graphics—to spread the Gospel and inspire deeper faith. They engage with the online community, promote church events, and provide spiritual resources like devotionals and scripture to support connection and discipleship.
